Dr Merrick started the facility because he wanted to achieve something great so he could get famous. He wanted to be able to say that he’s one of the greatest inventors. And he also realized that he could make a lot of money out of this because people wanna live for ever.

I think their trying to say that human cloning is wrong and that if this ever occur in the future its going turn out bad. because it’s morally wrong to breed people for slaughter. And I think it will mess up the ecosystem because people aren’t meant to live for so long and that the earth will get messed up because of it. I’m not surprised to see this in a hollywood because we’ve seen it before in other movies. 

I also think they’re trying to say that all human life no matter who it is or where we come from we’re all worth the same. Doesn’t matter how much money you got because no one should be held captive against their will unless they did something wrong. I think it works good even though there’s violence in it because it shows that you should stand up for your cause and not let the ”bad ones” win.

I think that when she says that The Island is real i think she means that they’re the island because it’s a luxury to be able to get donations from a person who's an exact match to yourself and that that is a kind of paradise.A paradise were you live forever. I think that in the future people will loose hope and that people no longer believe in a paradise or heaven because there is other solutions on earth. Solutions that are more reliable and more predictable.
