Branded summary 

The book is about a boy named Dale(Glen). It starts with we getting to know about a murder event. Then it continues with we getting to know a guy named Parish. He’s getting bullied by people at his school because his new and weird. Then there’s a flashback to his house where his name is Dale and not Glen. Turns out there was a connection between the murder in the beginning and him changing his name. They find out it was his brother killing those girls on the news. People start thinking that his family were involved and started grouping against them so badly that they needed to get new identities. They moved 300 miles away with new identities and a new town. At his new town he finds one person that doesn’t hate him. The nerd that invites him to visit archeologi site. Of course since it’s the only person talking to him he goes with it. Has a lot of fun but there’s a downside. The bullies get knowledge of this and starts mocking him for it. After being mocked for a while he snaps and beats down the ”leader”. He get’s in a lot of truble and get’s rejected by the girl he likes.
